Job Title: Community Arts Program Coordinator – Part time, 25 hours per week, $14/hour
Purpose: We are seeking a creative, engaging, resourceful, and organized Community Arts Program Coordinator to join Jubilee Art’s dynamic team. If you have a passion for assisting people with discovering their artistic talent and seeing someone realize their potential then this is the ideal opportunity for you. The successful candidate will work with the Program Director to develop, recruit, and oversee Jubilee Art’s diverse range of ongoing programs, which include youth and adult art classes, Youth In Business program, and dance classes. The Community Arts Program Coordinator is a leadership position, which will manage a volunteer staff and is essential to Jubilee Arts sustainable operations as she/he will be an important community liaison.
Note: Due to the nature of this position, incumbent will be subject to a background check.
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of (professional or volunteer) experience in customer service
Effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills along with problem solving abilities
High School Graduate
6 months of experience (professional or volunteer) working with youth within under resourced communities
Ability to attend to multiple projects with a productive, positive, and patient attitude, and fulfill responsibilities with minimum supervision
Proficiency with internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive
Preferred Skills
Passion for art and community
1 year of sales (professional or volunteer) experience
Dependable computer and email access
Teaching experience
Personal car, current driver’s license

Towson Town Center Extends Hours for Holidays
For those who have some holiday shopping still to do, the Towson Town Center may be on your list of places to hit. People who aren’t done shopping are in the majority-only about 10 percent of holiday shoppers said they were finished as of Monday, Dec. 15, according to the National Retail Federation.

Free parking next week in Baltimore County
Baltimore County is offering two hours of free parking at 1,735 meters Dec. 20-25. Parking meters will be decorated with red Seasons Greetings bags in Catonsville, Towson, Parkville, Essex, Overlea, Pikesville, Arbutus, Stoneleigh and Dundalk.
